Slice the bread thin but not paper thin

Mix about 2-3 Tbsp Olive Oli and 2 spoonfuls garlic (We like extra garlic in this house)

For got to add....this stuff is great! I did about 2-4 shakes of it into the oil mix

Brush it on

Applesauce Cake

Micro wanted to bake today. I jumped on the chance. Because lately my boys have not been interested in cooking with me. They'd rather play Iron Man and Captain America or Angry Birds than to cook with their Mommy. :-(

*le sigh*

Anyway..on to the cake!

And it was good!

Pineapple Cake! With Micro Chef.

Micro Chef loves pineapple. To the point of obsession. So I'm indulging him. Today we made a Pineapple Upside Down Cake. I usually make things from scratch because I can be a food snob. That's the only thing I'm snobby about. Food. But the boys could care less. But today, I used a Duncan Hines Pineapple Supreme cake mix. I find it good for my needs, until I find an awesome from scratch recipe.

P.S If someone out there has a link to an awesome from scratch recipes, I have a million hugs to send you.
